It all began with a unique vehicle…

When I began to transform my 2008 Volkswagen R32 into a more focused track weapon, it became evident that many of the upgrades I’d need to make were not readily available. But my desire to go faster was such that I pursued many of them anyway, educating myself on alignment, suspension, braking and aerodynamic upgrades so that I could do much of the work & fabrication myself. Along the way, I found that much of the hard earned knowledge I’d acquired was also valued by others in the VW performance community (and beyond!) So what’s an enterprising motorhead and career design professional to do? Well naturally, I decided it was time to formalize my love for my car (and the things that made it faster) into a business helping others to do the same! And that, in a nutshell, is how Yeti Racecraft was born.

What’s with the YETI thing? Well, that’s a whole other story that I’d be happy to tell once we’ve met. Suffice it to say, it’s an appropriate spirit animal for me, my R32 and the white blur we have both become on track days. You can check out the full build thread here:
